Gotta be New Mexico!
Hopefully not Proteus IV in Demonseed.
Perhaps this AI:
I haven’t seen Demonseed, but I refuse to believe that Julie Christie is the duck’s mother.
Yes, Harrah’s New Mexico! Expect a picture of a stack of yellow chips, won by betting $42 across!
Good luck in your Journeys. I have also lowered EVERY toss in my arsenal. ( G) has the right idea when he showed us his " line drive" toss.
If I can toss em 1-2 inches above the layout, & not get the " Sir, you need to put a little air on the dice" thingy....then THAT'S what I'm gonna do.
The lower the toss to the table top....the less bounce...to the backwall, & .....off of the back wall as well. I should have done this YEARS ago.
30-45 degree arc?......KEEP IT!!! Not for me!!!! 1-2 inches off of the surface please.
Don’t forget the metadata.
All the comments . "Playing since 1966 and blah blah blah
I'm surprise someone hasn't posted some scalding , "$#^*T"
saying "10 years working and practicing and you just now
figured that out"?
Yeah , that's got to be some really cool poop
Yup, in the glory days of gtc and Sharpshooter, 30-45 might have worked. Today not so much.
No need to....Jimmy. YOU just posted the "Scalding Shit"!!!!
Yep....I say AGAIN! Playing since 1966, you're STILL at the $5 tables when you're at the Casinos. James, you're just a Keyboard Craps Player just like Old Top.
Household/Family responsibilities have put a damper on my play. What's YOUR excuse?
Oh, .no. I forgot. You only play when ya need Mortgage, Plane Payments, fuel for the plane, & " Exotic" recreational money.
Heh, ( D)...I have several rolls of one eighth inch thick closed cell foam.
Well....an extremely low toss on closed cell foam, & the dice STLL behave properly. No hopping, popping, & erratic bouncing.
We always tend to poke fun at Dave, but a extremely low SKIP to the back wall is a GOOD thing as long as you aren't attempting to " Bowl" the dice end over end to the back wall.
Where i go as long as you arent hitting chips in the prop and reaching the back wall they dont say a word.
That is true for MOST venues. However, the toss that I am speaking of is so close to the surface that it CAN be misconstrued as Dice Sliding.
Now, the dice don't slide AT ALL, but the dice ARE released roughly at 1-2 inches above the surface, producing a Skipping, Gliding type effect.
If the Pit Boss is a " Dick".....I'm almost certain he/she is gonna complain IF YOU GO on a " Heater"!
Casinos are a little superstitious, & even though your toss might be TOTALLY compliant....sometimes they DO find ways to STOP a roll that's killing their UNLIMITED Bankroll. ( Assuming the toss appears a little suspect)
Not often, but it does occur from time to time.
I understand I have options others do not. If I rolled a certain way and a pit boss ONLY took exception if I went on a good roll? I would walk and never come back.
If the pit does not like your toss on roll 54....he should not like it on roll 1.
I'd call "garbage"....and cash out. No excuse for arbitrary decisions. That's a quick way to alienate your customers. A good pit boss doesn't jerk around like this.
That is all you need if you understand the game
LOL , hardly
You conveniently left out part , I worry Top you are getting more and more likeTDevious with every post
I said also I go when I want to or I need to
Sometimes I just need to go
WHY I GO really has you guys in a tail spin
and the fact I can go weeks without playing has you guys
going in circles I know TDevious has said he plays several times a week , Unlike you guys I don't NEED TO PLAY because
I just have to get on the table I think you and others have referred to it as "YOUR CRAPS FIX" I don't need that
I play primarily when I want to and for some other reasons
Thanks for the concern but I'm doing just fine.
If I start showing signs of addiction like, blaming losses on biased dice, moving back in with Mom, stealing craps tables or making absurd statements like playing craps to make the next farm payment I'll call 1-800-BETS-OFF.
