Anyone going to be in the neighborhood PM me.
I think Hilary will be there, should be very exciting for you.
Sent a PM but we can't make it this weekend. Wife already committed to cooking a family dinner.
Wouldn't mind seeing a trip report. I haven't been up there since 2003.
Diamond Jo Dubuque is a nice land-based facility (since late 2008), better than the city-owned racino (now called Q Casino). It is much better than the old riverboat that you had visited years ago. The city did a nice job with the harbor area.
The 20x odds don't look too shabby.
Is this anywhere near the Palmer chiropractic school? The son is considering going there, but he's also considering a life of leisure without working. Might be worth a trip to look at the place.
Had to look up Palmer Chiropractic, which per Google is located in Davenport, Iowa.
Dubuque (IA) is @70 miles north of Davenport (IA) if you take US 61. The more scenic drive along the river is a little longer (and slower). FYI, there are several casinos in the Quad Cities area, including Rhythm City Casino Resort (Davenport, IA), Isle Casino Hotel (Bettendorf, IA), and Jumers Casino & Hotel (Rock Island, IL). Dubuque has 2 casinos: Diamond Jo and Q Casino (racino).
Edit: US 61, not SR 61.
spent a little time at Jo' today. only one at the table. two losing sessions in a row. Could not make a point. Will hit it again tomorrow. I prefer to have at least a couple more shooters. Money go's too fast sometimes. met my loss limit quickly. bouncy table I did manage to press comeout wins two times but both times unable to make point. One toss on my 7 set landed right against the back and I think it missed a pyramid and bounced back a 7. made me smile. Saw both 5/2 & 3/4 randomly
A life of leisure WITHOUT working? HELL YEAH! I've always said that WORK is an invasion of PRIVACY!
