If you had the answer “us” would immediately know.
Yes Ma'am, in this particular case, everybody is Me. So, how about the answer? I mean, the post was just sooooooo GD cryptic, only a genius like yourself, or maybe 777 would ever be able to figure it out. So, for all of the stupid people like, I don't know, TDV, give me the GD answer. Ma'am.
Cmon duck....you're not getting out alive. They have figured it all out long ago. Millions of years of the foundation of math is enough. Entire teams of hired head hunters designing the impossible beat.
After that's been done and the game is delivered....They look for cheaters. Beyond that...face facts, you're not getting out alive. Gamble responsibly.
As much as I would LOVE to disagree with the above noted statement....there's a parade of them heading back to Altoona or Clarksville or El Paso or Baton Rouge every day. Bus fare and a meal. A pat on the back. Be well. Your bus leaves in 10 minutes. The ones that stay have pensions, social security, a rich father or gamble responsibly. There no life short cuts to the bank vault.
You want fairy dust stories....go to Disney World.
You want money....either be a trust fund baby, get a nice inheritance...or find work.
It's nice to dream. No harm. Just don't implement that dream in the confines of a casino....unless you want to be a bookie or own a piece of the action.
Back to our scheduled programming.
Yes, I think "everybody" finds YOUR posts, humorous, but not in the way YOU think. I certainly do.
For the most part, this is true, but I know of a couple of exceptions. It is necessary for the game to be fixed, though, like the Aruze bubble, and a couple of others. You're not going to beat a straight game, for very long. I know it pains you, to think of somebody, taking money out of a casino, but there are a few. I doubt if there are any "DI's", or Blackjack counters, that do. .
Eh....there are definitely some poker sharps pulling cash out, taking advantage of unsuspecting tourists or locals. Probably a few teams as well and known professionals. Card counters face a more stressful existence as casinos are on the lookout...but I concede there are likely some able to do it. Sports bettors....far and few. Ace mathematical people willing to do the work...and not some clown selling his picks over the Internet.
The other games...we win, we lose. There is no regular, dependable, consistent bank, IMO.
Beyond that...doubt it very highly. The level of proof is something that really could not be provided. Got a P/L statement? An IRS form stating it as your occupation?
Those cheating or looking for some glitch to exploit? While I concede the possibility, I still kind of doubt it. We are all free to believe whatever we want. As misguided as your thinking is...you are entitled to it.
Saturday night in Green Bay I watched the table tilled Ir cleared out some. I got SR1
had a short roll with a 1/6 seven, I changed sets to a 2/4 4/6 had a 15 rolls with three
pass line winners, get the dice back missed the ATS because I could not get a three.
Third roll I got one pass line winner and couple of 8's and the box women said hey buddy
you got to put more air under those dice..... I cashed out with $280 for my hunting
trip this week.
I wish I had $1 for every time a box man said put more air under the dice or hit the back wall …..harder...
Anyone smart enough to make money consistently gambling should be smart enough to make much more money starting their own business, trading stocks, investing in real estate etc.
Poker may be an exception for a few but, poker for a living is like a high school kid believing their career is going to be in the NFL. A few make it, 99.9% don't,
The truth is, what the truth is, and you are entitled to deny it. No skin off anybody's ass.
They probably could, but it's one of those "forbidden fruit" things, plus, who wants to show up at some damned "JOB" every day?
If you're trying to execute an influenced shot I've always felt altitude is not your friend. My new saying is "If it's above the rail, it's going to fail"
I won't do the set changes, no need to with my shot. I may move the side numbers around trying to snipe a box number but, the straight 6's are staying on top until I croak.
FWIW: I've been practicing and tracking rolls on the practice table with a set of dice that I drilled 5/16 holes into the six face almost to the middle to purposely bias them. So far I'm not seeing anything that stands out from random dice but, the sample is still much to small. Once I get 1440 rolls done I'll put them in bonetracker and post the results.
I enjoy my job and won't ever completely retire. Like I said, someone shiny enough to beat the casino is shiny enough to create an opportunity to make money that they also enjoy doing.
There is no question if you shoot in a manner that suggests some degree
of practice went along with that you are going to draw attention. Hell it would
if you and I were the boxman..
You sure as hell dont have to break any rules to get shit....but you are supposed
to understand that I guess. I have shot many times at Green bay and never
had a word said to me...the box lady has seen me there lots.
Hey it is their casino, I am only a guest.
I’m not going to fault anyone on how they want to spend their money. All I can say is when I asked a box man at Red Rock about taking Dom the Dominator courses....I got this....
I don't pity anybody that enrolls in a DI course. The very worse that can happen, is that they emerge, a "so called" random roller. If they play as a "random roller", they are guaranteed to eventually lose, so what's the big deal. It's either, give your money to a scumbag casino, or, give it to a "righteous DI guru". I'll guarantee you, that these guys derive a lot more pleasure out of practicing their toss, than they ever did losing their money in live play. Not much different than people playing the lottery.
What do you want to hear duck boy....that there are people taking money out of the casino regularly? Part time work? Occasional run in and run out? I've heard the stories. If you want to believe wholeheartedly...be my guest.
While you or no one else may want to hear it...when Mr. And Mrs. Smith relocate to Vegas....my advice is to find a different hobby. There's plenty to do. Mr. & Mrs. Fertitta, Boyd and other local owners are not worth a combined $60 billion because they are getting beat...even by a select few. They did not get rich offering two'fers or $14.99 prime rib or discounted drinks at the bar.
Two options...play low stakes games, enjoy yourself, enjoy some comps and surmise "price of doing business". If you have discretionary money each month and don't care....by all means, pull the slot, play some black jack, craps, etc.
Discretionary is subjective...see bumper story below.
My honest advice to anyone living here....gamble as if you are a tourist. Once a month as if you flew in, a few bucks in hand and have a little fun. Those churning and burning here 3-4 times a week...many are surviving...Albeit my guess is their living standard isn't meeting their income by a long shot, especially if slots is their game...but that's subjective, I guess.
Worst sight in the world. The guy that rolls up with a rope holding up his bumper playing $25/hand blackjack. There are a lot of em. Then again, who am I to judge?
For those who think cashing the check, arriving thru the doors and somehow getting ahead of these games....I'm kinda shaking my head. I can keep it close over long haul, as can anyone. Beyond that....I have severe doubts. The piper gets paid eventually.
Gamble like TDV, $1 bubble a couple times a week..... Fun stuff. My apologies if this comes across as an anti gambling rant in a gambling forum.
I had to read that rope holding up the bumper line again until it sunk in. got the image. no different than watching some young couple gambling away their rent money after the monthly subsidy check comes in and then fighting about it in public. Here one of them convinced the other one this was the way to get enough money to pay the rent, buy xmas presents, go to Disney, and have enough left over for a rainy day.
only took 5 minutes for them to feel reality.
Sadly, there are a lot of “rope bumpers” in the casino lots....especially in what I call the more “sawdust” type places.
it’s kind of subjective on my part because someone may not care....it gets them from point A to B.
When is it an issue as it relates to anything? I guess it’s also to each his own. Doesn’t stop me from sighing when I see it.
Years ago I was in the coffee shop hearing just a such conversation between a couple. They had their bills in hand, shuffling paperwork and discussing what roulette numbers to play.
Regardless of the warnings..... there will always be “those” that feel practicing, & developing a deft toss will beat the Casinos.
You also have people that will end up chasing the Dice Influencing dream of traveling, staying in the finest Casinos, & making a living from Craps.
Many will be led astray by all of the Internet hoopla & the endless videos of guys with their “ home” tables that SWEAR they are beating the Casinos. Now, we know that the best looking mid-air tosses are all Smoke, & mirrors, but people are so desperate that they will latch on to ANY kind of toss. Some of these guys are SUPPOSEDLY instructing viewers, & they cannot even demonstrate a Smoke, & Mirrors toss. Nowadays, all ya gotta do is get yourself a YouTube channel, toss like pure shit. Tell your viewers that you are beating the Casinos, & ........ WALA.... ya have 3,000 subscribers just itching to fork over their cash!!!
The perfect example is Bonethrower. Told his subscribers that he would never charge for his videos. Well..... now he is charging his subscribers $10 per month on Patreon to view his “ Private” videos. Lol
Last time I looked, he had over 200 subscribers. That’s 200 suckers to help pay his rent/mortgage.
There’s a sucker born...... lol
