It's highly modified from at least two years on the fins, bumpers, roof. Im thinking the roof and fins are off a 1960

$200.00 in 1969 bought you a rusty dirty old car with noisy mufflers. Sister had a license no car and Mom had no license when one of her bar customers was getting rid of it, Mom bought it and stuck it in the back yard.

No plates for a week so My sis and I spent the week cleaning it inside and out. It was filthy inside but we polished all the chrome and metal clean, cleaned off the glass and the seats looked great when we were done. Got her licensed, ($35.00 uninsured motorist) and the sister drove us around for 6 months. Mt older brother showed up and we had a muffler put on it it was a dream machine. Lots of stories and crazy times during this year. My brother went back to his family and when sis got pregnant she left the house. Good ol welfare. Mom kept the car and I got my license and the car was mine. On the loose in Detroit my stomping grounds grew. Most all my friends had cars by now anyway but most of them couldn't beat the Cadillac.

I've always liked caddy's and owned a few myself....I think my best one was a 76 coupe , firemist red with white cordoba top and white leather uphostery..about 10 inches thick..i think it was 500 ci and got 16 miles a gallon on the highway ....it was a land cruiser and a great riding car....

The Roy Rogers restaurant was short lived. It came out same tine Arbys did. They were slicing Roast beef sandwiches all day and night. Fresh bread baked on sight. fresh horseraddish. It was great but it was not sustainable.
Used to cruise Woodward back then looking for chicks, getting in fights and racing cars. Every night. there were 4 lanes in each direction with a grass medium and J turns every 1/4 mile. Lights every mile and on some half miles.
