One guy I know plays them a lot , he said he plays them for the points , and he actually wins often enough
to be a few dollars ahead overall
they say if you play slots it's the one to play

There are a lot of guys here in Vegas that play 'Shoot to Win' for points only. I agree, if you are going for Points, then the 'Shoot to win' is the way to get them with little risk.

The Gurus of VP here in Vegas are now only playing multi-line VP on machines that have a TRUE 99.45% return. Those who want to play single line have to go to Downtown to The California, Main Street Station or El Cortez to play the old coin droppers to get a TRUE 99.45% return.

The Downtown casinos comps tend to be better than elsewhere, for video poker players.

Good info to know. A follow up question would be how plentiful are these 99.45% machines at the properties mentioned above? Is it one machine or are there ten or more? If their availability is limited, chances are the locals already are playing them before one gets there.

There as been a few times I have gone Downtown to find that all the machines I wanted to play are taken up with local. It's is like finding a parking spot at a crowded mall, you have to circle around till you find a seat.

Midnight to 5 am is a great time to play. Most machines will be open and nobody is really going to bother you...and the smokers are all sleeping! LOL

Most locals that go to the Downtown casinos play to achieve a particular tier level and get the comps/goodies. Are they net positive? Making money? I really don't know. Gamblers tend to be coy on such subjects and mealy-mouth the truth of what their real situation is. However, I tend to guess most of them simply enjoy the casino lifestyle and the friends they meet, so they simply pay to be in a social club to my reckoning.

It's looks about the same kind of dice as Aruze....just a smaller version. All the dice have the rounded aspect although it's less clear on the white dice.

no, as many different interblok craps machines Ive played, different combos of arrangements of seats, or roulette consoles added,or third die added for sicbo, interblok has smaller dice, Id guess, around 2/3 the size of aruze dice.
I also believe aruze bubble dice are more rounded, seem to roll around a bit more, but still feel results mimic live tables.
I pray one day I notice the bias in bubble dice. Ill camp out until they drag me out.

don't know where craps poopshoot gets his info, don't care who he talks with, maybe he needs to have a bit more experience with the game.
hearsay and book knowledge is great, doesn't match play experience.

the thing that is curious to me is how these wannabe craps players , these guys that get on the machines
and pretend to play craps have so much to say about the guys who do play craps and win
how they ridicule and badmouth the players who do play the tables
They spend their time talking about we the players
they talk talk talk but they don't do do do , they pretend to play play play
THEY GOT NUTHIN just all talk
show us something guys play once and tell us how you do do do

ofcourse this is a slot like game.

They may pay the same or close in odds, but like a slot
I believe the results are known before you hit the button
    to move the dice.
