Did they move Red Rocks Casino or Red Rocks Canyon? It was on the south side of Vegas last time I was there. I wasn't even drunk at the time.
They just moved the ENTIRE casino and mountains just yesterday ! -
It is NOW located to the WEST of Vegas -
Obviously you either need a better compass - OR - have a drink or 4 !
Wrong. 2x odds. I'll wager my Craps Forum membership on it. 2x odds. Nothing more.
Min $1. Max $2000. 2x odds. Horn bet for some reason is $4 min (It's the only bet req. more than $1)
I see my friend "the doctor" was there in his surgical scrubs.
Hey SR this video wasn't half bad, thx
Love SuperRick's videos!
Feel like I just walked through the Red Rock casino.
Maybe I need to drink more on next Vegas visit. Which flavor koolaid do you recommend?
you probably missed the one where he films the floor giggling after he won 20$
but yeah some of them are cool because we can never get info about casinos from their websites
No, I think I saw that one! All part of the genre.
As you say, we are getting a peak behind the 'curtain' thanks to SR.
I consider Red Rock the best off strip resort. GVR is also up there.
If you haven't been there, go.
A Coors man! Nothing tastes better than Mexican koolaid when it's 110 in the shade.
TDVegas - again your opinion doesn't mean shit .... maybe you are 1 of the locals at Red Rock that is bringing it down according to the latest review:
... two complaints. The first was all the whinning and crying by some of the locals. While playing video pocket at the bar I listened to non-stop complaing from some of the locals, which is something I don't want to listen to on my vacation. Their language was vulgar and their attitudes was off the chart. They would of been kicked out of the casinos we hang out at in the Midwest. I'm not saying this about all the locals because some that I met were really nice. Red Rock says they cater to the locals, but some of those people are nothing but white trash and ruin it for all of us.
Our second complaint was our casino host at Red Rock. We have been coming to Red Rock for 6 years and getting signature suites, limo service and just about anything else we needed from our hosts. This year when I called Red Rock I wanted to do something special on our 10 year wedding anniversary. The casino host I had was gone and I was giving a new one. This guy told me that all he could do for me was 3 free nights in a regular room and I would have to pay the resort fee.I told him what Red Rock usualy does for me and he said there was nothing they could do. Basicly all he offered me was what I get in my mailings. He told me that his hands were tied because we didn't stay there the year before. When I explained to him that I was picked up at the airport by a Red Rock limo that year and comped 4 nights in a signature suite, he hesitated and then said oh I see that now. Needless to say that is why we only stayed 2 nights at Red Rock when we usually stay 3 or 4 nights. If that's was Red Rock wants to do is cater to the locals that is there option.
Again, TDVegas does not know what he is talking about when it comes to live craps play ..... I haven't played live table craps at Red Rock for almost 4 years, and only then because I was invited to play on a Reserved table .... The clubs near the Red Rock craps tables play their music so loud that the tables actually vibrate with every bass beat
For someone who feels the need to remain off the radar as an advantage player...you have a casino host?
The reserved table was the one on the loading dock, right next to the giant trash compactor. Hardly likes the vibrations from the compactor. Helps with the whole random thing.
If he likes the vibrations..then he would be on the bubble. LOL.
Interesting that Hardly has time to write casino reviews, then post them as someone else's. Maybe you have potential as a fiction writer? Possible first title for you, "How I got rich playing craps"
Wrong again TDVegas according to this review from TripAdvisor just 3 days ago:
I used to love Station Casinos and spent many a happy day at Green Valley, so I figured their sister luxury resort, Red Rock would be a good bet. Wrong!
The room was a disaster, full of dust and assorted detritus. I changed rooms and found the same filth. Part of it caused, I am sure, by not changing the air conditioner filters . The corridors, were just as bad and full of pieces of paper, and assorted trash.
The in room snacks were astonishing. $10.00 for a small bottle of alcohol. $5.00 for a bag of pretzels,$50.00 for a small bottle of tequila, and the following sign on the counter: "Items that have been removed for longer than 45 seconds will be charged directly to your guest account. Placing other items within the mini-bar may also incur charges to your account." (I usually like to place my ice bag in the fridge- not here). Talk about welcoming friendliness!
Now for the gaming. Some new but many old tight slot machines, that did not pay off as well as the Indian casino slots here in Florida. The blackjack rules had tightened up a little since my last trip to Green Valley. Dealers were friendly and professional.
They had a couple of 2 deck $10.00 blackjack tables, Also a single deck blackjack table which paid off at 6-5 for blackjack instead of 3-2. These are all over the country and must be avoided ! 10 times odds at Craps, and the usual assortment of other games; Pai-Gow Poker, 3 Hand Poker, etc. I spent 6 to8 hours a day at the tables, and never heard from my casino host
The coffee shop food was good, but it took almost an hour to get breakfast in the early am, and later on I walked out on a snack because of the poor service. There was also a Noodle Bar, with some interesting Chinese specialties, both excellent with wonderful service and the usual upscale Steak and Italian restaurants.plus Lucille's Barbecue and others. there was a small food court (Starbucks, Fatburger, Ben & Jerry's, etc.) There was a big movie theater as well
The restaurants for the most part were moderate in price, but could not compare to the magnificent Oyster Bar at Green Valley, Sunset Station and others. The casinos (everywhere) are now making as much money from their nightclubs and bars as they due from gaming..
You are essentially trapped in a place like this. There is a free shuttle to the strip and shopping, but it is not the same as walking out the door to another casino or amenity.
I have been going to Las Vegas since McCarran Airport was a Quonset Hut in the desert and 1 airline served the community. Now the trip from Florida, door to door is over 9 harrowing hours and even though I fly First Class, it is a nightmare of crowds and unpleasantness and the ground transportation costs (taxis, limos, etc.) are staggering. True, I am getting old but traveling isn't as much fun as it used to be partially because of age and partially because the airlines and others travel providers are taking terrible advantage of the public.
You would think if you are staying off the strip you would get a better gamble, looser odds at table games and looser slots. That used to be true, but it isn't anymore. Las Vegas has recovered from bankruptcy and now the strip casinos are even charging for parking if you can believe it!
Take it from an old time gambler: Stay elsewhere unless you have a good reason to patronize Red Rock
Twelve4s aka Heavy - so sorry you are so jealous .... What's the matter, jeep parts are moving slow this holiday weekend ?!
