It's always a "TRAY", not a bowl, not a cup. The "dice out of play" at a craps table, are stored in a TRAY. You just need to work on your terminology a little, that's all, and your honesty. :)

    MY Craps Dealers.... Craps Bowl.
You want to work for me... I make the rules. :)

I will ask the Stickman today what their terminology is... at their place. My place... dice bowl.

If the faces of the 4 and the 3 were smaller on all dice, these faces would have a GREATER not LESSER, chance of showing.

I like 'dice boat'! Sounds silly. The dice are in a little boat! cute.

I never say 'same dice' when I throw them off the table.

I let the stickman pour the contents of the boat out to me and I select 2 other bias'd dice.

You can't be serious! So if I flip a coin it has a better chance of landing on its edge than on heads or tails because the edge has less area than the faces?! No wonder I've never won a coin flip game!

Me neither. Saves me having to explain why I threw them off the table if I liked them so much.

I guess it could work for a while....but people and "easy" money are like termites to wood. Eventually, once the pot of wood is discovered, it becomes a breeding ground.

Just before the 4th....they open fireworks stands all across the valley. Low and behold the "termites" figured out the glitch. No cameras. A lot of cash by end of day. Locations are set up away from anything else. Not well lit. No hard phone line where a 911 call gets an immediate response to that location.

Gold. Armed robberies. Termites to wood.

If one guy figured out the ATM code....for some reason he tells everyone.

I guess the casino could play a cat and mouse game...but by then someone has likely blown the whistle.

That's real "cute", RR. That reminds me of an incident. The other day, we had a smoker throwing the dice, and when he looked on the rail, he couldn't find any place for his ashes, he asked the guy in the pit, if he could get him an "ash boat". That wasn't YOU was it?

It's a "TRAY". My source was the same guy that told YOU that the shaved sides of the dice, would show up LESS OFTEN. :D

I will guarantee you, he won't say "CUP", which is what YOU called it, to start this whole thing. It's a GD "TRAY" though bowl would be acceptable, if they for some reason, had no "TRAYS".

Just for fun... I scanned some miscellaneous dice.

The two with 3's showing. One is culled. The other was perfect. Tell my why and which is the cull.

The scan of three dice show a finished blank, one with a security letter in the pip and a different kind of pip.

The last show pip differences and security. One was a rejected die. Can you tell me why?

The Craps Table was full of Californians to ask a question. I know this will be loads of fun. Maybe someone else may want to ask if possible. Whomever is is closest to correct is the Head Pip for a day.

FredP and von Duck cannot join in on any confirmation. :) View attachment 8624 View attachment 8624 View attachment 8625 Scan 3.jpeg Scan 1.jpeg Scan.jpeg

We can argue all day about this. I am in the middle. I have watched and examined both sides.

If I can find BIASED dice that affect the Dice Pyramid... I will be able to prove it

It does not seem like you are to much in the middle.....

When I speak of poor dice, that was not a question... when they opened the
table at Bowler they would spin the dice very fast....good they are balanced, one day
I said why dont you watch when the dice end....they did. is was so bad they even fell
back to the same position 8 out of 10 tries, those were terrible dice....and they just put
    them in play.

It is one thing to say well I have to use the dice they got, play or go home, it is another to suggest all the dice casino's use are in balance, and that does not have to be a missing pip.

Balanced perfectly or not, dice are Fair Dice

One die heavier than the other die.. Fair Dice.

Different colors, different sizes, not balanced, different weights... Fair Dice.

No argument from my end of the Dice are Fair issue.

IF you believe they are Biased since they are not perfectly balanced... play the BIAS. Whatever that may be. Then the problem is determining WHICH of the five dice fit your BIASED DICE grouping.

Lets say two dice are favoring sixes. Two dice are favoring ones. One die favors a five. So what? Once the dice are in the air, hit the board and or wall... it does not matter one bit. EVER.

If the Pit Boss declares the dice as FAIR, the DI crowd will say there were more NINES thrown during the Session.... You should have wagered heavy on the Nines and kept quiet...

Oops. I see, you shave the dice on opposing sides, so that both a three and a four would be LESS likely. My mistake, I am SO damned sorry. :D

I get tired of editing new information... So.

If the Biased Dice favor... SEVENS. Lay wagers. In that case I like the 6 and 8 as they pay best on the Don't Side of the table.

Where does BIAS pay off? One side of the table loses, the other side wins. If it favors the Don't Pass... duh... go to the Dark Side. Somehow you have to consider reality. Not 100% of players play the Pass Line and Place Bets... Think about it. You cannot have it both ways.

One side WINS. The other side of the table LOSES. The table still gets their percentage.

We have a winner. von Duck is Pip for the day. This was not a shaved die, but a variety where an order would come in for a smaller size, lets say for a .750 inch and there are a group of .775 ready... they mill them down .025". Well... they were off and the die was discarded as junk as it was not... perfect.

If all Craps Players knew how many times the dice are examined and tested... you would understand why they are expensive, considering their size. But the significance at a Craps Table must maintain the randomness of outcomes.

Oh... I have better ones, but lets have some fun. The three dice also have a reject added for fun.
