Cruising a Casino, I observed a player that was obviously a DI Believer, in that She, Yes She was carefully setting the dice in the 3-V pattern & throwing them in the classical arch manner, throwing from one end to the other with a consistent contact zone, only exception being a rather strong throw with a significant rebound.

This was @ a $25 limit table, with two $10's available nearby, the $25 table had only three players present, while the others were packed.

I observed this shooter shoot twice with minimal benefits before that dreaded 7 appeared. As this player failed to bet on the other two players, I continued to watch. One of the players was betting several hundred $ on Don't, on all players including himself & had the most Green chips in his rack.

I was feeling sorry for the third player as I observed him buy in for $ 1500 & was seriously thin on chips when the gal got the dice for the third time. She was also low on chips, but bet $25 on the pass line with $25 odds & placed a 6 & 8, now her rack was also out of chips.

I stood there rooting for her on, as she proceeded to shoot the spots off of the dice, hitting numerous Hard Ways & at least a dozen #'s before making her point. She made only three points, but had to hit about 40 #'s before she 7'D out.

Yes, the don't Player gave up & left as the table started to fill & the $ 1500 buy in player left after her 40 # roll, with an estimated $4000 in chips, by my observation.

No, unfortunately, I did not venture in, but would recognize this player again & would bet on her in a flash in the future.

As tdvegas says: Positive short term variance. My only Problem with the Di' ng stuff is that most won' t acknowledge that "all" shots work &fail at one time or another. You dont have to "pinch" the dice, toss underhand, parr, or Gtc. I' m tossing a shot (Yeah, i got bored &hit the practice table) right now that is totally unconventional, but it works! You dont have to spin , or lob the dice perfectly. Just keep hitting the same spot & keep your fingers crossed! Might want to reduce your number of bets, as well.

I like my "Bill O'Reilly" shot. So you know what zone the dice are in!

She may or may not have been influencing the rolls of the dice. You would never know for sure, unless enough data was collected to gain a mathematical confidence level that indicated one way or the other.

Since that probably is not going to happen, just do what you suggested, observe, and if you believe one might be influencing the rolls, go with it. As long as you don't over bet based on that unconfirmed belief, she is probably as good a shooter as anyone else.

If I witnessed a "wanna be" DI shooter having great rolls, I would be tempted to join the party, I'm a skeptic, but I'm open to the possibility.....especially if didn't recognize her as a poster here! :)

I think people will be naturally drawn to a player who exhibits something a little different. That difference is maybe he takes a few more seconds to pick his dice, does a little routine with his set and has a rather strange, mechanical toss unlike anyone else at the table. He might draw your attention. Now, couple that with a pretty good roll...and you might start thinking to yourself. I'm not suggesting he's a DI or any better than Grandma who just left after a 33 roll...but often you hear about someone seeing the guy who is a little different and wins and the questions begin in your own mind...

I had a guy ask me about my bubble craps routine because I was on a long roll and I was very focused on when I "hit the button"....the guy 2 spots away from him said "this guy has been on a tear". It's not difficult to get people to question or think when they see something out of the ordinary. Throw in a good roll or a few....and voila, the legend starts.

you can influence the odds in your favor with DI - it is proven and possible but that said - it sounds easier than it actually is and many think they do it and don't but the fact is - it happens. A real DI will know when he is or is not influencing the dice - in the end the only person you fool is your bankroll and you can't fake that.

yes it has -i have already shown in previous posts where documented proof exists. but is not easy to do for the few who can do it.

onautopiolet, I am confident that She would not be a poster "here".

Would you give her any credence in that she only bet positive & on herself?

Where is the documented proof? Please don't refer me to 2 idiots squaring off for a bunch of rolls on an odd Staurday and 1 rolls more 7's than the other.

If she is consistently having good rolls, I would follow the "crowd", just because, why not. To become a believer, I still want to see some replicable evidence that influence is indeed taking place. For me, that will always be, enough data to establish a mathematical confidence level that indicates an influenced bias exists.

That is probably not going to happen, so we are left with anecdotal accounts, for what they are worth.

Dice control will never be absolutely proved, or disproved, for that matter. The very best you can do to establish the validity of dice control, or influence if you prefer, is to use probability mathematics, to establish a confidence level, to a degree that indicates some influenced bias is taking place. To my knowledge, that has never been done in a controlled, and reliable test, nor will it be done, in my opinion.

The amount of time, and the number of rolls required, would probably be outside any ones time constraints, based on the small degree of influence that might be possible. I say small degree, based on the casino counter measures that logically preclude a large degree of influence....distance, no sliding, hit the back wall, and the pyramids.

Physics allows for dice influence, physics also allows that it would be extremely unlikely to exist, given the present parameters of the game,

We both said the same thing, I just like hearing myself talk more than you do. And since I haven't recovered all my live vocal functions quite yet, the written word is a substitute "pleasure"! :)

It's improving though, might be able to say hello next trip up that way!

Ok I give up...yes I believe in dice influencing or whatever you call it. You folks have beat me down enough I can't fight it anymore. I have given up on common sense. I have given up on watching a few videos that show how random things become once that dice hit the table. I have given up the idea that not one...I say again...not one person who believes they are influencing the dice can predict to any regularity at all what number or or even numbers are going to come up BEFORE they throw.

I am ready to go on record that dice control, influence, whatever you want to call it is real. However, I must explain my position. Dice influence, control, or whatever is possessed by anyone who has ever stepped up to the craps table and tossed, thrown, heaved the dice. Yes it is true, we are all dice controllers, influencers, whatever you want to call it. We, every one of us craps players control or influence the dice in one way and one way only...we pick them up and throw them. It is as simple as that. The only way we influence and/or control the dice is by simply picking them up and throwing them.

Finally, everything is all right in the world. There are truly dice influencers and/or controllers. We can now ALL proudly say we are DI's. It took awhile but there is finally proof. If someone would never pick up the dice there would be no live table craps games because the dice would just sit there uninfluenced and under no control.

Now can we please move on. I doubt it but this is the best I can do to say there is such a thing as dice controlling and/or influencing and every player that throws the dice possesses it! ;)

I feel soooo much better now and I hope you do too! :D

Well, I hate to tell you this Demago, eagleeye2 is not Harley if he is going to post if he did he would use his name. You're not going to hear anything from him on the bad dice, as everybody has said there are none! Harley is no longer posting about them you can go to any casino you want to and it's just bad luck every time you lose. Have at it while we make money.

I love to see losers on the craps tables, they keep the game going, so we all won't be playing bubble craps!
