You too huh? I'm positive that this statement is true of any betting strategy, devised by YOU. It's a shame I can't post MINE, for scrutiny, but if I did that, then the cat would be out of the bag. Some secrets must be guarded, and this is one of them, I mean, some people's livelihood, could be at stake. Shhhhhhhhhh. I have a good name for my system, it's named after one of our posters, or several, as it were. I'm sure all of them would love the name. [/QUOTE] von duck, I accept that you cannot divulge such a powerful system & thus no one will ever get to evaluate it, ha, hja, ha... eagleeye2
Here's what Tom P said in regard to tough craps. Post# 1 Page #1 Tough craps. . "Thus is the Tough Craps player almost always losing per session and, alas, per shooter and <sigh> per life" .
Tom P. actually played the game, so he could be relied on to write about it truthfully. The 'Fantasy craps' played by others is very uninteresting.
Tom P. and I never played together. Not knowingly, anyway. I was one of the first to accept the Bohunk challenge, and Tom wanted to know where I would meet him. I couldn't be in Vegas when he was there(which was often), so that never worked out. He was talking about a trip east, as new casinos were opening, and I said we'd meet up somewhere in Pa, or NJ (New York casinos had not opened yet). Sadly Tom passed before I could meet and/or play with him. I played the Bohunk Challenge 'virtually' in honor of Tom after he passed. I donated the $20 stakes I lost to Jacob. But I believe many here on the forum did play with Betwthelines.
Duck, James has given you the 'keys to the vault'. Bet the triple parlay on the hard 6 or 8 Have you employed this tactic yet? Bl
The bubble rolled a few hardways in recent sessions but no triple parleys. 20 per group would be the expected numbers over this 720 roll sample from last week. Last night not included. I made $267, wife made $50 last night. Dice were cold last night. 9 more sevens than expected. I took everything down and cashed out in the middle of a roll that was in the high teens at the cashout point. Hard Way Numbers Group Count % of Rolls Expected % H4 35 4.86% 2.78% H6 21 2.92% 2.78% H8 29 4.03% 2.78% H10 20 2.78% 2.78%
How many times did each of these bets LOSE during that same 720 rolls. Without that info, the other numbers mean nothing at all. One cannot access these things with only 1/2 the facts.
Since I never bet hardways, I'm not going to take the time to figure that out. I didn't say I won that many hardways. Just an interesting number that was mixed in with the data I do care about. I do have the info though. The 4 rolled 69 times, 35 of them hard verses 60 times 20 of them hard expected. The seven rolled 108 times verses 120 expected.
Tom P kicked me out of the Tough Craps club when I mentioned I occasionally bet a hard way, or would even throw a buck on the 'Yo eleven' now and then.
Sounds like you're cherry picking. If you NEVER bet hardways, then you should have won NOTHING on them. Another factor would be how many of what fell on the come-out.
What part of I never bet hardways and just an interesting number did you not understand? That sample just shows why size matters. A person generating that many hard 4's over a 720 roll sample on the practice table or in real play may get the impression that they are influencing the dice when in reality they may not be.
So how were you able to influence the dice, to bring so many fours. Some might want to know how much you would charge, to teach them to do it. What brand of bubble was this done on. You are right about sample size. I used to go with a sample size of ONE, but I found out, that this gave the appearance, that the dice were completely avoiding some numbers?
Well disco duck it's like this.EE2 did reply but he did so in the body of the quoted section as he often does. If you click on and expand the quoted section you will see his reply. I wonder if anyone else had/has this habit.
