These offers I have made have 2 options. You can either accept them OR reject them. There is no "counter proposal" that I would entertain involving $1,000's, $2,000's, $3,000's of dollars on what I consider to be a coin flip bet.

In each case, these offers were made with the SOLE intent of having a little fun, rolling the dice and seeing who comes out on top....the skilled player or the totally unskilled. In each case, win or lose I would make a donation to Jacob in that persons name. In any event, money was my last consideration

I'm not interested in taking members money. I'm not interested in their money at all. This challenge I have put forth is focused on SKILL (or lack of)....if someone feels this is not worth their time or energy or travel----then simply say no thanks. Just as you are not interested in my "guidelines"....I'm not interested in your counter proposal "guidelines", nor would I entertain it. Im comfortable with what is offered. Take it...or leave it. No harm either way.

Beyond that, why would anyone even consider a guy who plays $1 bubble craps is going to risk $1,000, $2,000, $3,000 or more on what he considers a coin flip wager? Doesn't make any sense. The SOLE intent of the challenge...is SKILL.

And I fully agree...which is why my intent is to do this as a fun exercise and not a "I want that damn TDV's money"....

I would think the skilled ones would be more interested in proving their skill than not at all....and by attaching $1,000's in wagers, it won't be entertained.

Alas....not to be. Money is the priority. So...we are left where we began. Yes, no, I can, no you can't.

    As the World turns...:)

On edit....8 times a failure to get these 2 posts done. My patience is nearing......

You have been very adamant with your statements
"There is no skill only luck , this would have been
a way to test that and also see how sure you were
    of that statement.
When did that ever work? You make that challenge
and if someone turns you down you
just keep harping on it , to you there is no ---simply say no
You went on and on about the bohunk crap for weeks.
So then I guess it's safe to say
we can put you down as a definite NO??

    The concept still eludes you
Skilled DIs prove and reprove their skills constantly
when they play , many people see it as it happens.
A DI has a big roll the skeptics chalk it up to luck .
To a person who doesn't understand the process
no amount of proof would ever be enough .
Some believe , but are simply not going to admit
    DI as a reality

Right. You say luck is NO factor in craps. Luck doesn’t exist, Ergo, any win, any good roll, any longer roll than expected has GOT to be dice influence. There can be no other explanation for that roll.

I haven’t noticed the Mesa Troll having any resource limit problems?

Maybe he has some special Troll software to skirt the problem?

You are, of course, at liberty to prefer whatever suits your agenda. I think I'll stick to a wider view that includes the other side of a competitive scenario.

Skill | Definition of Skill by Merriam-Webster
    https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/skill
1 a: the ability to use one's knowledge effectively and readily in execution or performance
1 b: dexterity or coordination especially in the execution of learned physical tasks

2 a: a learned power of doing something competently
    2 b: a developed aptitude or ability

Luck and skill are always both present in any competitive scenario. The ratio of the contribution of those factors to the outcome of the competition varies inversely and is typically indigenous to the game being played. As you stipulate casino craps is, to coin a phrase, luck intensive, but I will stipulate that at least in theory some skill may be attainable. I would therefore not discourage a serious player from investigating a way to acquire some skill while warning against drawing a post hoc ergo propter hoc conclusion from favorable results.
Now, now. No need to step out of character. Take credit where you clearly believe it is due. Besides, it has not been all that many days.

I would also note that a more generally accepted great player frequently remarked, "I'd rather be lucky than good."

If he had gotten that wish he would
    have become less successful

I use to win a lot of money on the
golf course from a guy who use to say
    the exact same thing .
Then one day as he was writing the check
He said, "Why is it you seem , somehow always to beat
me by only one pop / stroke"?
    I said , Just LUCKY I GUESS
