Yes it has been reported after a DI crew hit a sixpoint Fire Bet ( each having $10 on it) these 2 hotels have since banned DI ( guess TD wasn' t there lol) How long will it last who knows / who cares. No DI will play there. It has been noted non DI who out of habit set the dice were also enraged. Guess these casinos have a problem with variance. Can anyone spell " mickey mouse" operation?

Bullsh*t. If it was true it would apply across the board at other Caesars Entertainment properties. Make up another story.

    Flamingo
    Cromwell
    Harrahs
    Planet Hollywood
    Caesars...all within walking distance

Let me guess, you heard it thru a friend of a friend of a friend of an acquaintance.

Is there a fingerprint method in place to identify these influencers, or is there a digital identification when one walks through the doors?

I honestly do not believe the casinos give a shit about anything other than how much is in their patrons wallets.

TD,..There are a very few DI's living in and around Vegas, the ones that I know will not try to kill the casinos, again it's because the casinos will ban you, unless you have wild swings. I do know of some that have such swings and never have anything said to them. One week there living it up and the next they are trying to pay off all of their markers all over town.

Try telling your wife that you are going to move to Vegas just so you can play craps and see where that will get you. Even after moving here and the grandchildren comes along you will have pressure to move back to where your grandchildren are! I know I just went throw that, when my wife wanted to buy a second home in Fla. So she could be by our granddaughter!

I write about the so-called DI's that only play craps three times a year, that live being a DI through the DI boards. They take the same classes every time there is one available and then the pay those hook-up fees so they can play on the same tables with their heroes.

All you have to do is to look at the corporate structure of casinos any more, the one you just left is owned by the one that you are going to across the street. Even trying to move your play around can be trying at times. Yes,...we do have all of these casinos here and around Vegas but the casinos have a damn good net-work of surveillance. If you start on a winning streak and walk across the street that phone call may have been made already to your next casino.

One of your arguments is that the DI's should be able to make a killing out here in Vegas Land, well the casinos are not in the business of giving money away and will do anything they can to stop you if your a DI, no I'm not talking about Joe Blow that is just setting the dice and the casinos sees one time a year. I'm talking about the ones they see all of the time that does not know how to move their play around.

I can tell you where all of the out of town DI's play at, because they play there every time they come into town, so what does that tell you It tells me that they a losing when they are here! Here is a case in point:

Now I know that you said BS, and maybe it is, but you live here, why don't you report back to everybody that it's true or not. I heard that it's on some of the DI boards.

I will not play in the casino in question, because they are nothing but a sweat joint if you ask me and laugh every time I hear the DI's even saying they are playing there! There have been many cases of casinos banning all DI's by saying no dice setting, then changing back again, because their players went elsewhere.

I tell everybody that they should have a $5 fire bet on everybody on the table when they are playing craps. We know that it has a 25% house advantage but one lucky roller will make up for everything you lost on it before. Did I just say lucky, well that is what happened in the story about the guy hitting the 6 point fire bet,..he just got lucky! I see way to many fire bets won by so-called random roller that are just slinging the dice down the tables! Everybody just get lucky when they hit a 6 point fire bet!

The fire bet makes the casinos a lot of money if it didn't we wouldn't have it, but sometimes you have a table games manager that doesn't know what they are doing and when they take a hit will even pull the bet off the tables. The next time you play craps ask some of the dealers for any of their horror stories about table games managers. They are down right laughable!

Koko'. Lot of casinos do sweat the bucks. You can be a DI , lucky RR or a green little man. They hate losing and can become petty

    Rick,

You are one smart man! I'd get a one word response, and it wouldn't be hello.

I'll tell you what...with the boards OK, it's a beautifully hot day here in Vegas today---I'll make a trip down to Bally's and Paris and check this myself. If need be I'll do my best impression of a DI---pick up the dice, drop them, choose 2---set them up with 2V or whatever and pick them up in the most mechanical way I can and robotically toss the dice in my best DI impression. My bet is they don't say a word. Any takers?

Now, I'm not going to do this unless there is some quid pro quo from Dave---so he can stop this nonsense reporting that isn't true. Let me know asap. I rarely go to the Strip but will make an exception for this one because I find it unbelievable.

I just perused Heavy's site--could not find the post. Have a link, Dave?

    Hi TD
The thread is Six point fire bet DI banning at Bally's? There are some posts you cannot access unless you are a member. I am just relaying the story. Heavy did mention a couple of years ago they had given him some problems. A lot of times cooler heads prevail and things get back to normal. TD if you do not normally play there why go there? Oh I forgot you want to know all matters DI !

Totally bogus on every detail. I went today to both casinos to see for myself. See my "trip report".

There is no ban on any fire bet.

I did. Today. Total BS. Ballys does have a nice Corvette in the lobby. Blue.

Again, on the banning of dice setting, fire bets and from what I could see of the mechanical throwers. Total bullsh*t.

Today--Bally's and Paris. There was no heat, no banning, no grief. I saw multiple setters. Spent bout 30 minutes in the craps area at each casino. 2 tables open at each.

Your move. I'd love to hear more reports so I can investigate. This report was $hit.

Yea it's a knee jerk reaction as far as I am concerned. However I do know that they will give the locals a hard time if they start winning a lot of money. I think SR said it best when he talked about spreading your play around and not getting greedy.

And what exactly is this "hard time" specifically?

Thanks for the info Dave. I think in matters of rumors like this it is best to trust but verify. Now that TD gave us his report, I'll trust it for now that the Ballys/Paris reported DI heat was a one-off situation. Next time I'm in town I'll probably check it out myself. Whoever reported the rumor is maybe not telling the whole story. Maybe they were taking too long to set the dice or whatever and pissed off the pit. Maybe the particular pit critter is an a**. I'd want to hear from several sources before confirming it as "official word". Like SR and gargoil said, when playing at casinos it is best that we do not overstay our welcome and kill the goose.

You said you know. You're not revealing A-bomb secrets here. What specifically is this hard time or heat?

Uh, I'll go with mistrust and verify. I'll go to the strip each and every time I hear these outrageous claims and squash them myself.

My take..someone was short rolling. Warned. Continued short rolling. Warned again. Swore at crew. Booted out, then reported on heavy site about dice setters getting banned and DI getting banned. Total garbage. These false stories then take on a life of their own.

Then Dave picks up the bogus story and runs it here as truth.

TDVegas there are casinos in town that I can't play at, I've had out-of-town players say they have never seen anything like what they try to do when I'm shooting.
I don't even have to be winning in some of these casinos. I stopped playing in Bally's years ago when I would go in there after I was on a call down on the strip.

There are some casinos that I can't see why anybody would play in them around town. But I will not post them it could all depends on the crew that is on when you are playing there. I've had other DI's tell me that they can't play at that casino and nothing is said to me. I had the suit they are talking about eating out of my hand!

There are casinos that I can play in before the day shift come on, but can't play there after they do. I stopped going to the tables with out-of-town players and will only have one other player with me at a time.

Look I seen all kinds of so-called DI's over the years and will tell you that they all need luck to win at craps. Most out-of-town players will play on any table they find, they play on full tables, they play when you have the EDC in town where you have 300,000 in town for it. You name it I've seen it, when it comes to the so-called DI's. I've seen the trip reports where they wrote they were killing it when they were losing and didn't know that I was standing there watching their play.

I once got a phone call from a local DI telling me that there was going to be a bunch of DI's playing where he knew that I played every week on a certain day.
I only played there to help a few guys out that wanted to know how to play the game. It was at one of the casinos that doesn't get much action and was a very low limit game.

So I walk up to the table and it's full, one of the world famous DI's yells out, hey everybody superrick is here and gives up his shooting spot to me, I couldn't believe what just happened. I said something to this guy about what he had just done. When the dice got to me I went on a roll that was stopped by all of these guys that he had brought to the table on every shot that I made. I never seen such bad betting in my life. They were screaming at the top of their lungs, every time I made a shot and acting like little kids.

When I 7 out I picked up my chips and headed to the cage, one of them came over and asked why I was leaving, that's when I told him it was because of all of the so-called DI's on the table and mainly because of him. He was the one that was screaming as loud as he could. I told him to turn around and tell me how many players he didn't know on that table. He looked dumb founded when I asked him that. The table now was full with all of the other players he had called to the table with all of his screaming.

I called around trying to find out who set that fiasco up and found out it was the world famous DI that teaches on axis dice control. These so-called DI's are their own worst enemies. They want to play in packs, thinking that one of them will get on a roll and they will all win money, they are all using the same shot and if they are GTC trained they are all betting on the 6 and 8 and that is about it! Then you have the musical shooters that they will rotate into SR1 or SL1. It's so funny watching what they are doing. When I see them I head for the door unless I want to stand out of the way and get in a good laugh.

As I tell everybody there will be players that never see a DI in their life time, most will never even know one is on the table if the guy is any good. Sure you have thousands of players that set the dice, but that is because they once saw someone get on a good roll that was setting the dice. Just because someone is setting the dice it doesn't make them a DI.

I still tell everybody that they are reading nothing but fiction on these DI boards. What the hell the DI schools need fiction to sell what they are doing!

So until there is one video that shows that a DI's dice stay on axis, we all can chalk it up to BS and bad casino management, when they ban setting the dice. That ban could have happened for one day or one shift, who knows and who cares. The only thing it proves is how stupid some table game managers are!

As I stated Rick, my sole reason for going down to Bally's and Paris was to expose the truth. Had I not gone done there and busted this asinine story...you likely would have believed the report. The story was $hit. I'll do it next time I hear one of these reports. There was a side of me that wanted it to be true so I could actually see it for myself. Low and behold the story was garbage, pure garbage.

The fact is I don't believe any of these stories about so called DI players getting banned. There is not one single reliable internet article like the one you posted on the blackjack player about a craps player getting banned or hassled for TRUE DI play. Not one. Zero. These are all anecdotal stories that cannot be verified by independent people. The writer who reported on Johnson getting banned is independent. The casino acknowledging the ban is also an independent verification.

I can find nothing, zero to back up these stories on DI players being 86'd from casinos. They are ALL anecdotal and hearsay. the only way I believe is if I see it myself or like the Johnson article---it's made major media story.

You say you are banned from Bally's from playing craps? I would have loved for you to be there today. I would have wagered lunch that we could both walk into Bally's---you can walk up to the table, drop your C-notes and play without one word from staff.

What exactly is this heat? Is this a boxman winking to the stickman and then winking to the dealers to screw up your play? these 3 dealers that rely on your for tips for a good portion of their livelihood are trying to F you up and make you lose? Is that what you are telling me?

As I said, today was my first visit to verify and the story was totally untrue. Find me a story that I can witness myself.

Trust me---I want to see some of these claims of hassling, banning, etc. happening. It's the only way I'll believe it. DI's claiming they are getting "heat" IMO is likely based on some "skirting" of the rules. The boxman telling you to make sure both dice hit the back wall is NOT heat. The boxman telling you not to take 45 seconds to perform a routine is NOT heat. A dealer pushing aside a late bet is not hassling you. Heat to me means a suit is coming out of the offices and walking up behind you and saying "we are uncomfortable with your play"...for no other reason than they think you are controlling the dice (DI)...
