Yes, it was all bad except for the weather here. Went over to my local casino here and proceeded to lose my BR of 200...boo hoo!!
Couldn't sustain any amount of progressive wins. You know it still was fun in a way. Maybe another time in a different dimension , huh?
I wish I could brag about some part of the trip. A dice chucker down the other end of the table had better rolls than I.
Thanks for reading my yammering s

Some days are diamonds, some days are stones. When you climb in the ring with that 800 pound gorilla, you know that the chances of going the distance are not always in your favor. :)

Sounds like a lot of PSO's. Well at least that's behind you now besides there's always tomorrow.

There isn't a player here who hasn't seen this or been thru it.

I'm amazed at how good the dice can be at times....and how bad they can be.

    Better luck next time.

have you tried the yuri grip yet?
    or the helicopter shot?

I think if you get on board with some of these famous super duper sleek and cool shots you will never worry about a loss again. Ever.

aren't you reading any threads here.

seems some of the people posting here have this new shot called they yuri, before that, I think there was some in house fighting about the original helicopter shot and who developed and used it. Like some secret weapon only privy to some of the underground dice setters.

if you were studying these shots, youd be like me and the rest of the dice influencers here killing casinos daily.

I don't know what to do with all the money Im raking in with the yuri shot.

It's ashame you come on this board looking to get a little advice and you're slammed with sarcasm.

The a$$hole remark Liman gave you was uncalled for, he and others here have driven off posters who would actually give you good feedback. That's why I rarely post. Most of these guys are old bastards whose entire life revolves around being BMOC of a craps forum. Message board bullies!

Hang in there Far out. You'll have good days and bad at the tables. Remember, stick with the lower risk bets, avoid the props and take what the table is giving you. If that means playing the don'ts by all means do so.

I have gotten clobbered my last 2 trips to OC. On the 30th I went with a small group to Foxwoods and had some great hands (thought my throw was *finally* maturing). I went to OC 7/3 had one great hand. Someone even tipped me a green chip and the rest went down hill. I went Saturday while my wife was doing some homework (she's is finishing her 1st year of her PhD)...awful. Between the two trips, lost everything I was up from my foxwoods adventure. I need to get out of town more.

Hang in there farout. It's them, not us ;)

I play a lot, in Vegas and in other parts of the country. But one thing's a constant, if a big hand is thrown at the table and I've got a decent profit I will immediately color up and be finished for the day. I know it's tough to leave a table if you're playing with buddies but the majority of the time you will lose back all of your winnings aka 7-3 at OC. Do yourself a favor and walk away. Go up to your room, people watch on the strip, anything but gamble. You can always meet up with your amigos at the casino bar an hour later.

Thanks for your kind words my friend. I have tried different methods and throws but the more I see the less I believe on skill. But that's me being me.

I'm with you Far Out. Good advice. of course one would have to have a great session first.
Not like my day yesterday. Down to my last $40.00 I went dark. Within minutes on a couple guys I had another $40.0 in my hand and bets still on the table. My turn on the dice so I up the anti from $10 to $20 on the dont pass and grab the dice. BAM 11 #@!*%$#@. Another $20... BAM 7 @#!$#@&%$
Back to $ 10. Point of 10... DC for $5.. toss a 5.. DC $10...... Made the 10 point. Crushed I take the remainder on the DP, $20 and toss a 8... You guessed it three throws later I make the 8. Casino got my $200.00

Wow, a believable craps report. Been there, done that. I gave up trying to switch sides for that very reason, it never seems to work. Seems like a better idea, to just walk away, when things are going downhill.

Where I grew up we had a pool hall in our small town. The owner was a wannabe mobster who was a numbers writer. He loved to play craps and had a craps table in his pool hall, where he tossed dice all day. My buddies and I hung there as teenagers and we all practiced and developed all kinds of different throws. The throw I use today was one that worked great on that old table.

Most of the stuff you read on these forums is just noise from armchair dice players who couldn't shoot their way out of a paper bag.

I'm self taught. You don't need to take any type of formal class to learn how to toss dice. Check your local pool halls, maybe one of them might have a craps table. If you find one, practice different technics until you find a throw that best avoids the seven, then use that one in the casino. Just remember keep the throw as soft as possible and then the key is to duplicate it every single toss.

Me too. I think I would be more infuriated by switching and then losing on both sides. I understand the reasoning for trying something else. It's just those times when you make the switch to dark and all you see are come out 7-11 and points getting hit.

For me...it's being on 3 numbers (5-6-8) and all I'm seeing is the other 3 getting hit (4-9-10)
