Honestly, I'm not sure there is a simple black and white answer.

My belief is you need to be able to roll and minimize the number of 7's you roll when the point is on. When others are rolling you need to pay attention and figure out who has that skill, or luck and play with the dice in their hands.

    It's a tough game son.

The more you are at the table and observe.....the more you put down your hard earned money,......... the more you will see, the more you will absorb....the more into sharper focus your playing philosophy will become.

Your ideas will evolve. The key is to develope a game plan for when you are at the table....have rules for your play ( and have reasons for your rules).....and most important of all, follow your rules. Discipline will be the most important quality you can possess, without it you are sunk.

The math is important to know and is the Science of the game......but at least as important is to have a good nose, to be able to sniff out " stuff" , which the math cannot tell you....this is the Art side of the game. Your nose, will frequently determine, more than the math, how well you do. It is important to have a good, large nose.....I am fortunate in this regard. People have different abilities and skills....some are just better at doing things than others......it's the same with noses.....some are blessed , others are not as blessed.

Good luck at the tables......you'll figure it out I'm sure.

Solid ideas. Having a good mix of science (the math), the art (feel or sniff test) and putting those into play. Add to that the discipline of your system or systems and you might have success, sometimes...

    A) wait a few rolls and lay the point if none’s / few are being made in the trend.

    B) by waiting a few rolls you won’t.

    A) I stick to my strategy when attending live craps sessions. I expect to lose, but it's awesome when I win.
    B) Yes. all shooters including DI, Random rollers and newbies. (Not to brag but Newbies seem to be making me the most profits at the tables this last few sessions)

You say that when you play , you expect to lose , What percentage of sessions would you say you lose?

Well, his comment says it all. He expect to lose. So follow what he says if you want to lose.

lately with the Power Press 18x18 on 6/8 strategy... it's been tremendously positive...

Based on an average $400 buy in i'm averaging approx 2 solid hours of continuous betting on every shooter.
I've lost approx 5 sessions so far in the month of March ($2000.00)

Just the other day I hit a nice table making tons of 6's & 8's putting me in just over $4000 in profits

I'd have to say loss/win (6 out of 10) sessions but I only lose $400/session and when I win, I win in excess of $500 or greater in most cases I really shoot for a goal of $1500/session.

What controls my stay is the time... I usually start a live session at 7pm and end at 11 (4hrs) if I still have chips. Some days I will lose my 400 in under two hours.

Here is a video of the betting strategy I currently use at the casino.

I just want to be honest here, I don't brag because I've yet to discover Consistency in the strategy I currently use. Right now I'm all over the place.

at present I'm happy to be getting more than 2 hours of play from a $400 buy in.

But it is true, we can't go in to the casino and expect to win every session... That just brings me down when I actually lose.

But if i expect to lose and then I get some hot shooters on that day, it makes me feel better when leaving the casino with chips.

That will get you a diamond card for sure.

I rather find a plan that wins most time then gamble and expect to lose for a big win once in a while. I still get those big wins tho.

don't worry about bragging , I know that some players are reluctant to state what they actually do because of possible , "PUSH BACK"
but if you are looking for help or opinions give the facts as they are , that way people know how to respond

If i went to the table and played 2 hours betting on all others and pressing I would lose my
home, my hunting lake, my cabin, my boat and all my kids.
