a) How do you bet and win when shooters are going 7 out in 4 to 8 rolls and the numbers coming up are very random? b) Do you bet on all shooters when you're at the table or wait to see their technique?
Under those conditions I suppose you could bet a couple 3 units across, one unit on the field and take it down after 3 rolls. No guarantee to success but a good possibility.
A) You play the Don't Pass B) You don't play all shooters, you qualify them. C) YOU learn how to shoot the dice.
You might look around for a good book on craps that has a chapter entitled..." Strategy"... It might contain information that would be helpful..If it has good reviews from several sources, what's the worse that can happen. There is an old saying.....you have to spend money to make money. On the other hand, I am confident, with the knowledge I know exists here.....you can get all that knowledge for free. 777
There has been some good advice given to your question The best advice of all is to get as much information as you possibly can then sort thru the information and use what works best for you Books are a great source , basicstratagy777 has penned a fine book on the subject I would strongly suggest you begin there another good suggestion is to learn to shoot the dice Limit the number of people you bet on , choose only the very best Good information is very important and sometimes it comes at a cost Sometimes spending a little to learn is cheaper than what you can lose by not knowing how to win.
All fine and dandy, but becoming a smarter player just means you lose less. No strategy will overcome the house edge. The answer is still: C) Learn how to throw the dice.
You got it a betting strategy will take you just so far , to win you must learn two things 1) how to win 2) how not to lose , one element of not losing is obviously limiting losses I find that not betting on other players eliminates losing money on 10 to 12 other players But you are absolutely right , what DeMango said about learning to throw the dice is , "THE THING" learn that you will be way ahead
don't discount betting strategy . there is no , one thing , that will make you a winner you must have both a betting strategy and an ample number of outcomes from which to profit
DeMango Is your " no spin" toss an On Axis toss where you can target certain numbers with your dice set or is it used to just toss numbers?
certain dice faces show up more often. switch sets to give better chance for the numbers you want. you need a computer for this
Demango And some sevens show up more than others, if you can alter the type 7 that is showing up, you can alter your results. tdb
PeacePeople, Welcome to the forum. The idea of a choppy table turning ice cold has happened to everyone here. And everyone here is looking for that long run of numbers to color-up big. The ones that have been lucky to experience great runs relish to repeat such a success. Knowledge is key to the game of craps. Putting that knowledge to work for you builds experience. And gaining experience gives you a confidence in your choices at the table. So, sometimes it might not be the question to ask how to win but to cut lose and leave the table if a strategy isn t working out. On the second question, one shouldn t disqualify any shooter not even yourself. I am not gonna say or defend what is flapped about dice control on this forum. Interaction at the table by tossing the dice is part of the game. Just as the table turns ice cold one will never knows when that fire ignites and that table seems it could burn to the ground.
Correct me if I'm wrong but I think he's talking about certain dice faces as in ending results. I toss more back/back than random, the two dice faces facing the back wall. Been that way for decades. In a small session of a couple hundred rolls it may not always show, but I've recorded enough rolls over the past 15 years to know that it isn't a fluke.
Missthis 1 I am not questioning Demango, he knows what he is doing. I just indicated there are others things other players look for. I look for sevens and i do that because it is easier to adjust from one starting point or constant if you will... My game is 100% different from anyone i know, now i did not say better, i said different. tdb
