"TEDIOUS" said For 2017....I was net positive. Very slight. Come betting, low HA betting. Learn it some time, James. Long haul it can work. It's tough.
and went on to say I should try it

I am not going to play come bets and low HA bets , when I KNOW WHERE THE REAL MONEY is on the table

I learned about come bets and have a very strong attitude about them , I don't play them.

The simulations are likely very relevant, IMO. Take it for what you will.
I believe it was 10,000 gamblers, Each with 1 million rolls logged each.

I think it was maybe around ~4% are long term winners...ONLY playing pass 2x odds. By "winner"...I simply mean net positive. Not a living and likely not much more than pennies on the hour. Obviously betting limits play a roll in pennies, dimes or quarters per hour.

I think it was around ~2% are long term winners...ONLY playing place 6-8.

You can figure out for yourself what happens once you start delving into placing the 4-5-9-10 bets or other higher edge wagers.

There were NONE....no long term winners whatsoever using only hardways bets. That's 10,000 players utilizing a million rolls each. (Oops, there goes your triple hardway parlay, Jimmy).

You aren't helping your argument by playing once every blue moon.

Obviously, there will be plenty of ups and downs. Nearly everything that can happen will happen over time.

LID hit the nail on the head. The reason more money is lost here is because apparently everybody (except me) plays them all of the time.

I would guess that anyone who plays craps sees that most wagers go to 6 and 8. Since craps is a losing proposition by the math, this is where most of the money is lost.

I'm not much of a computer guru, but if I come across your post, I will link it in here. I think it might have been in the Come bet thread, I'll check.

So now i have a question. Does the casino make more money from the all across betters or the place 2 number betters?

The answer is YES! And as long as players keep betting this way, they will continue to make "more" money. :D

I assumed Jk46 would be playing, not teaching. "I need a job," should have tipped me off. My mistake.

BTW he apparently found a job almost immediately...and without our sage advice. He logged off 11 minutes after posting -- six minutes before my response -- and hasn't logged on again since.
I once heard a dealer tell a player the hardways were better bets than the field...and he seriously believed that was true! I straightened him out.
Technically I have never heard anybody say they were having fun while losing, but I have heard departing players tell the dealers they lost but had fun anyway. Were I a dealer I would consider that a compliment of the highest order for it would mean I had done my job. I can also understand why a player would make such a statement for I have done so, though silently, myself: I would have had more fun had I not lost of course, but since the force had not been with me I at least had received something in return.
I hope that does not mean what it says! I contend that if you are in a casino needing to win you are in the wrong place. Yes, yes; I know you are extreeeeeeeeeeeeeeeemmmmmly confident in your ability, but even the Insane Tutor with his alleged 28 SRR cannot guarantee a win.

I can say some things about extreeeeemmmm , "CONFIDENCE" / POSITIVE MENTAL ATTITUDE and , "SUCCESS" and how all that
HELPS to RESULT in MORE WINS
WINNING is not something that just happens , it is something you do
    WINNERS DO THE WORK
