I have been experimenting with the 6/5 5/6 set up on a crapless table. I am having fairly good luck with it.

I haven't mastered it yet but I'm making money. (bottom line)

My biggest problem is betting on other people and jumping in too late on a good roll. Wait a minute we all might have that problem.

    For those who don't know
    At a $5.00 table.

    6 and 12 pays 6:1 Minimal bet is $6.00
    3 and 11 pay 3:1 Minimal bet is $8.00
    Minus a small VIG

It is nice when a $25.00 eleven hits.

Some casino want the VIG up front. Where I play doesn't.

Anyone else play the 6/5 combination?

    I do not play crapless craps - However - I use the 6/5 - 5/6 set for my come-out rolls - and I generally make a $6 Horn bet - $2 Hi/Lo, $2 Craps 3 and a $2 - Yo.

I also tend to hit 7's with this set - although I do not relish when that occurs - as although I am a "winner 7 " I just lost to the Horn bets.

Regarding that remark - I did exactly that same thing the last time I played at Mt. Airy - believe you me - I won't make that mistake again !

Yes I use the 6/5 SHIFT(5 AND 6s together but rotated) for my come out I hit sevens alot and have the possible 11 as the back up to win.

H8 got this one right. With the 6/5, 5/6 combo the 7 is a single pitch away with an on axis toss. Too close for comfort, better just go with the 6/3, 6/3 or 6/5, 6/5 combos and keep the seven a double pitch away.
