I'm not yet conceding anything to Alabama this season. If you look at their schedule, who has the Crimson Tide played? Florida State in Game #1 was a 24-7 win on a "neutral" field in Atlanta, GA. That's it. The Tide (8-0) has only played 2 road games this season: a 59-0 win at Vanderbilt (3-4, 0-4) and a 27-19 victory at Texas A&M (5-2, 3-1). Non-conference home games were against Fresno State (5-2) and Colorado State (6-2), both non Power 5 teams. CSU lost to Bama 41-23, while Colorado beat its in-state rival 17-3. Washington beat Fresno State by about the same point differential as Alabama. Draw no conclusions by those comparisons, lol. In Game #1, Noles QB (Deondre Francois) was knocked out of the game (season-ending injury). but at that point FSU special teams miscues had already sealed Florida State's fate. FSU suffered a blocked punt (Bama recovered at the FSU 6 and made a FG), blocked FG and a fumble on a kickoff (Bama recovered at the FSU 11 and scored a TD). The blocked FG happened after a key non-call (pass interference in the end zone) late in the 1st half forced FSU to attempt a FG instead of taking the lead. https://www.sbnation.com/college-football/2017/9/2/16247930/alabama-fsu-pass-interference Still, the score was only 10-7 'Bama at the half (instead of possibly 14-10 FSU). However, the egregious non-call (and subsequent blocked punt) completely changed the momentum heading into halftime. Alabama has a road game at LSU this Saturday after having a bye (game against Tennessee) last week. I don't think LSU has enough offense to make things difficult for the Tide. Finally, there is the last game of the regular season at Auburn and possibly a game against (perhaps) undefeated Georgia in the SEC Championship. Both of those games could be very interesting. Ohio State and Clemson have shown the blueprint for beating Alabama. Several elite skill players on offense, great offensive line play, and being able to throw the ball downfield. There are several teams that have the offense to give Alabama problems. The Tide just hasn't played any of those teams...yet.
