Hmm...you'd better make sure you're checking out lots of different properties in various neighborhoods just to be sure, lol.

How far are you from Isle Casino in Cape Girardeau (MO) or Tropicana Evansville Casino in Evansvills (IN)?

About 2 hours to both of those, seldom ever go there though. There is also one in Caruthersville, MO. same time to that one. I went to the Cape a few time after they opened there, but the extra drive wasn't worth it to me.

Tunica is about 3-4 hours, and I do play there sometimes, but been a while.

Harrahs is just 30 minutes, too convenient! :)

Thanks, I plan on doing that, I've been thinking about a new set of golf clubs, maybe now's the time.

But for the most part, I treat myself to nice stuff a lot, even when I lose. My philosophy about money....If you have any left when you depart this world, you have mismanaged your money. :)

But what if "You CAN take it with you," and you wind up in the next life with no bankroll?

LOL, sounds like convenience was a good thing last night! Very nice win.

I've been to Harrah's Metropolis (the old boat) & the Lady Luck in Caruthersville. Isle Casino wasn't open yet when I last passed by that area. Guess I'll have to plan my route to stop by next time. Who knows, perhaps I'll make the trek down I-57 (or I-55) later this summer/fall.

If I'm still here, would be fun to share a few stories, and play a little!

I usually go back the next night after a nice win...just to see if I have caught the "Golden Ring". Just take a small part of the win.....sometimes the "luck" is still there, sometimes not. :)

But we have thunderstorms forecast, so will wait and see.

Storms usually bring good luck, unless a tree falls on ya, on the way to the casino.

I been to all of b them except cape. I am about 1 hr from cape. Probably 1.5 to caruthersville. That one is a tiny boat with just a plain old craps no bonus bets. Not much bounce there either. Never did care much for the tropicana.

It's good to have options, even if the casino doesn't have the same gaming tables as a LV casino. You could probably visit Tunica & St. Louis for even more choices, even if those destinations are a bit farther away.

This is all part of the DI folklore. Take five minutes to set the critters, toss them bones eight rolls, and you are an expert 40 minute roller.

This is exactly what they mean when the DI's tell us about those hour long rolls, right Dave?

Yea, it was one of those rare events when everything worked out great, even if it wasn't on the menu to begin with......and I will definitely take it! :)

Thinking about going up later tonight if the thunderstorms hold off, get my craps fix in. Usually not crowded if the weather is iffy.

Take a few more bucks out of there - As some would say, may your skills be working for you. I'll just say good luck.

Somebody said that to me once and a little funny-looking green thing showed up and said in a raspy voice, "Unavailable your skills are. Again later you try," then disappeared. Must have been the delivery.
